Be respectful and authentic. Don’t harass, threaten, exploit, scam, impersonate or manipulate others. Don’t post illegal or seriously harmful content. Respect privacy and consent. Use reporting, blocking and other safety tools when needed.
Scope & core principles
These Community Guidelines apply across Peekamoji, including profiles, posts, photos, short videos (“Peeks”), comments, reactions, live content, messages, groups, calls, creator features, Marketplace activity and other social features we make available.
They work together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Safety & Transparency information.
Our core expectations are simple:
- respect other people and their boundaries;
- do not exploit, deceive or intentionally endanger others;
- do not manipulate the Platform or its users;
- respect privacy, consent and intellectual-property rights; and
- use Peekamoji in accordance with applicable law.
Harmful or unsafe conduct may result in action even if the exact behaviour is not listed word-for-word below. Context matters, including intent, severity, likelihood of harm, audience, repetition and whether conduct targets a vulnerable person.
Respect, harassment & bullying
No harassment or bullying
Targeted abuse, stalking, blackmail, intimidation, degrading attacks, humiliation campaigns, sexual harassment and repeated unwanted contact are not allowed.
No coordinated targeting
Do not organize or encourage others to overwhelm, threaten, harass or repeatedly target another person.
Criticism is not automatically harassment
Disagreement, criticism, satire and robust discussion may be allowed when they do not cross into threats, targeted abuse, doxxing or sustained harassment.
Hate, threats & violence
No hate speech
Do not attack, dehumanize, threaten or incite discrimination against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
No threats or incitement
Credible threats, calls for violence, praise or encouragement of violent attacks, or instructions intended to facilitate serious violence are prohibited.
Violent organizations and extremist content
Content that recruits for, materially supports or glorifies violent extremist or terrorist organizations may be removed. Newsworthy, documentary, educational, counterspeech or research context may be treated differently where appropriate.
Sexual content & minor safety
Zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse
Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexual exploitation and sexualized depictions of minors are strictly prohibited.
We may preserve and report relevant information to competent authorities or child-safety organizations where required or appropriate.
No non-consensual sexual content
Intimate imagery shared without consent, sexual extortion, voyeuristic content, sexual exploitation and threats to distribute intimate content are prohibited.
Adult sexual content
Explicit pornography, sexual services and content primarily intended to facilitate sexual exploitation may be removed or restricted. Context such as health, education, art or news may be considered where appropriate.
Protect young users
Do not sexualize, exploit, manipulate or pressure younger users. Some features may have additional age or eligibility restrictions.
Self-harm & dangerous behaviour
Self-harm and suicide
Do not encourage, instruct, celebrate, romanticize or pressure someone to engage in suicide, self-harm or disordered-eating behaviour. Supportive, recovery-focused, awareness or help-seeking discussion may be allowed when it does not promote harmful behaviour.
Dangerous challenges and acts
Content that encourages people to perform dangerous acts with a serious and foreseeable risk of injury may be removed, restricted or made less discoverable.
If we believe there is an immediate and serious safety risk, we may take additional steps permitted by law to protect users or contact appropriate authorities.
Illegal activity & regulated goods
Do not use Peekamoji to promote, coordinate, facilitate or solicit serious illegal activity.
Do not offer, sell or promote illegal drugs, unlawful weapons or ammunition, explosives, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, trafficking services or other unlawful or restricted items.
Do not provide operational instructions intended to enable serious wrongdoing, evade lawful enforcement or materially assist harmful criminal activity.
Lawful educational, documentary, journalistic or harm-reduction discussion may be treated differently depending on context.
Privacy, consent & impersonation
No doxxing
Do not publish private home addresses, phone numbers, identity documents, financial details, login credentials or similarly sensitive personal information without authorization.
Respect consent
Do not secretly record, publish or distribute private conversations, intimate material or people in private settings where consent or another lawful basis is required.
No deceptive impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, creator, company, organization or public body in order to mislead, defraud or manipulate others.
Fan, parody or commentary accounts may be allowed when they are not deceptively presented as the real person or organization.
Misinformation, fraud & deception
Content that creates a serious and foreseeable risk of real-world harm through materially false or deceptive claims may be restricted or removed.
Fraud, phishing, fake giveaways, fake investment opportunities, identity scams, credential theft, advance-fee schemes and attempts to obtain money, Credits, goods or personal information through deception are prohibited.
Satire, parody, opinion and ordinary mistakes are generally not treated as fraud or harmful misinformation unless they are used deceptively or create a serious risk of harm.
Where manipulated or synthetic media is used in a materially deceptive way that could cause serious harm, fraud or impersonation, we may label, restrict or remove it depending on context.
Spam, manipulation & platform abuse
Do not use repetitive spam, automated engagement, mass unsolicited messaging, account farming, fake accounts or coordinated manipulation to artificially influence the Platform.
Do not artificially manipulate followers, reactions, comments, watch time, reach, rankings, recommendation systems, VibeScore, MoodGraph, Creator Score, creator earnings, tips, purchases or other platform metrics through deceptive or automated means.
Do not attempt unauthorized access, circumvent technical controls, distribute malicious software, scrape protected information at scale, interfere with security systems or misuse APIs and other technical infrastructure.
Do not knowingly abuse reporting, appeals, refunds, chargebacks or other support systems to harass users or obtain an improper benefit.
Intellectual property
Only upload or share content you own or have the right to use. Do not knowingly infringe copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights.
Rights holders can contact support@peekamoji.com regarding alleged infringement. We may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate a notice.
False or abusive intellectual-property complaints may themselves violate these Guidelines.
Commercial, creator & payment activity
If you publish advertising, sponsored, affiliate, gifted or branded content, make disclosures required by law and do not mislead users about commercial relationships.
Do not use creator-support, tipping, Credits, Packages, wallet, earnings or payout features for fraud, self-dealing, circular payments, laundering-like activity, fake engagement, unauthorized transactions or attempts to circumvent platform or payment-provider rules.
Purchased Credits and Packages are subject to our Credits & Packages Terms. Creator earnings, withdrawals and payouts are subject to our Creator Earnings & Payout Terms.
Where we identify suspicious payment or monetization activity, we may restrict relevant features, delay reviewable transactions or take other action permitted by the applicable terms and law.
Marketplace activity
If Marketplace features are available, users must comply with our Marketplace Terms and applicable law.
Prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen or illegal goods must not be listed or promoted. Sellers must not materially misrepresent a product, price, condition, identity, availability or commercial relationship.
Buyer and seller disputes, payment issues and delivery claims must not be used as a pretext for harassment, threats or retaliation.
Sensitive content & context
Not every piece of difficult or sensitive content violates these Guidelines. Depending on context, Peekamoji may choose to label, blur, age-restrict, reduce distribution of or otherwise limit access to content rather than remove it.
This may apply to graphic violence, medical imagery, disturbing events, mature themes or other material that may be unsuitable for some audiences but has legitimate news, educational, documentary, artistic or awareness value.
We may consider captions, surrounding discussion, public-interest value, intent, severity and the likelihood of harm when deciding how to treat content.
Reporting, blocking & personal controls
Use Peekamoji’s in-app reporting tools where available, or contact support@peekamoji.com, if you believe content or behaviour violates these Guidelines.
Where available, you can also use blocking, privacy, notification and personalized moderation controls to manage your own experience.
Personal controls complement — but do not replace — Peekamoji’s platform-wide safety rules. Content may still be reviewed or acted on even if an individual user has chosen not to see it.
Reports should be made in good faith. Do not intentionally submit false reports or organize report brigading to silence or harass others.
Moderation, enforcement & appeals
Peekamoji may use user reports, automated systems, technical signals and human review to detect and evaluate potential violations.
Depending on severity, context, repetition and account history, actions may include:
- warning or educating a user;
- labeling, blurring, age-restricting or reducing distribution of content;
- removing content;
- limiting messaging, live, Marketplace, monetization, creator or other features;
- temporarily suspending an account; or
- permanently removing an account in serious or repeated cases.
We may take immediate action in severe cases involving child safety, credible threats, serious fraud, platform compromise or other urgent risks.
Where appropriate or legally required, we may provide a reason for a moderation decision and a way to request review or appeal. More information is available on our Safety & Transparency page.
Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use Peekamoji. A higher minimum age, parental or guardian consent, or additional protections may apply in some jurisdictions.
Some features — including certain payment, Marketplace, creator-earnings, payout or live features — may have additional age, identity or eligibility requirements.
