Creator Earnings are not the same as Credits. Before any revenue share is calculated, Peekamoji first deducts all applicable Direct External Transaction Costs relating to the Creator Support transaction, including third-party platform commissions, payment-processing fees, banking fees, currency-conversion costs, payout fees, applicable transaction taxes, refunds, reversals, chargebacks and other comparable direct third-party costs. These costs may vary over time, by country, platform, payment method, currency and provider. The amount remaining after those costs is Net Tip Revenue. Only then is Net Tip Revenue allocated 80% to the Creator and 20% to Peekamoji. Creator Earnings remain subject to settlement, verification and any later valid adjustments.
Contracting party, scope & acceptance
These Creator Earnings & Payout Terms (“Creator Payout Terms”) are between you and Peekamoji ApS, Viborgvej 58, 9600 Aars, Denmark (CVR: 45351459), and apply when you use any Peekamoji feature that allows you to receive creator support, accrue Creator Earnings, request a withdrawal or receive a payout.
These Creator Payout Terms supplement our Terms of Use and, where relevant, our Credits & Packages Terms. By activating or using an earnings or payout feature after these terms are presented to you, you agree to them. Mandatory rights under applicable law always take priority.
Definitions
For these Creator Payout Terms:
- “Creator” means a user whom Peekamoji has made eligible to receive creator support or Creator Earnings.
- “Creator Support” or “Tip” means a voluntary in-app support transaction directed to a Creator through a feature made available by Peekamoji.
- “Credits” means user-side virtual items or balances governed by the Credits & Packages Terms. Credits are not Creator Earnings.
- “Gross Tip Value” means the monetary value that Peekamoji attributes to an eligible Creator Support transaction before deduction of Direct External Transaction Costs.
- “Direct External Transaction Costs” means transaction-specific third-party costs directly attributable or reasonably allocated to funding, processing, reversing or paying out Creator Support, including applicable transaction taxes, app-store commissions or service fees, payment-processing fees, banking fees, currency-conversion costs, payout-provider fees, refunds, reversals, chargebacks and similar direct third-party costs.
- “Net Tip Revenue” means Gross Tip Value minus Direct External Transaction Costs.
- “Creator Earnings” means the Creator’s contractual share of Net Tip Revenue under these terms, subject to settlement, verification, adjustments and applicable law.
Eligibility & creator status
Creator earnings and payout features may be available only to eligible accounts, countries, age groups, app versions or rollout cohorts. Access is not guaranteed and may require additional verification.
You must provide accurate information and be legally capable of receiving payouts. Where age, parental or guardian consent, tax registration, identity verification or other eligibility requirements apply, you must satisfy them before a payout can be made.
Creator status does not create employment, agency, partnership or exclusivity with Peekamoji.
Creator Earnings are separate from Credits
Credits and Creator Earnings are separate systems. A supporter may use eligible Credits or another approved in-app mechanism to send Creator Support, but the Creator does not receive the supporter’s Credits as cash or acquire ownership of the supporter’s purchase.
Instead, an eligible Creator Support transaction is converted into Creator Earnings using the calculation in these terms. A displayed coin, diamond, score, badge or other creator-facing unit has no cash value unless Peekamoji expressly identifies it as part of a withdrawable Creator Earnings balance.
Creator Support transactions
Creator Support is voluntary support. Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, sending a Tip does not purchase a private service, guarantee a response, create a charitable donation, or entitle the supporter to special treatment or additional content from the Creator.
Where required by Apple, Google or another applicable distribution or payment channel, Creator Support may be funded through that channel’s in-app billing system or through virtual items purchased using that system. Regional billing options may differ where platform rules or law permit.
Only transactions identified by Peekamoji as eligible for creator earnings generate Creator Earnings.
Earnings calculation — 80/20 model
For each eligible Creator Support transaction, Peekamoji first determines Net Tip Revenue:
Net Tip Revenue = Gross Tip Value − Direct External Transaction Costs.
The resulting Net Tip Revenue is then allocated as follows:
- 80% to the Creator as Creator Earnings.
- 20% to Peekamoji as the platform fee.
Peekamoji does not deduct its general internal operating expenses before applying the 80/20 split. Only Direct External Transaction Costs as defined above are deducted first.
Direct External Transaction Costs
Direct External Transaction Costs may vary by country, platform, payment method, currency, payout method and third-party provider. They may include, where actually applicable, transaction-specific taxes, Apple or Google commissions or service fees, payment-processing fees, banking fees, foreign-exchange costs, payout-provider charges, refunds, reversals, chargebacks and similar third-party transaction costs.
Where a third-party cost applies to a group or bundle of transactions rather than one transaction alone, Peekamoji may allocate that cost across the relevant transactions using a reasonable and consistently applied method.
Peekamoji will not classify ordinary internal overhead, such as general salaries, office costs or general development expenses, as Direct External Transaction Costs.
Illustrative calculation
Example only: if Gross Tip Value is 100 DKK and applicable Direct External Transaction Costs are 50 DKK, Net Tip Revenue is 50 DKK. The Creator’s 80% share is 40 DKK and Peekamoji’s 20% platform share is 10 DKK.
This example is illustrative only. Actual costs and currencies vary by transaction and may be different.
Pending, available & paid balances
Creator Earnings may be displayed in different states, such as pending, available, processing, paid, held or adjusted. A pending amount is provisional and is not yet payable.
An amount generally becomes available only after the underlying transaction has been successfully processed and any applicable settlement, fraud-review, refund or chargeback period has been taken into account.
The balance shown in the app is an account record, not a bank deposit or stored-value account.
No guaranteed income or fixed value
Peekamoji does not guarantee any minimum level of Creator Support, Creator Earnings, audience reach, payout frequency or future income.
Creator Earnings depend on actual eligible transactions and applicable deductions. Any estimated amount shown before final settlement may change because of fees, currency conversion, refunds, chargebacks, tax treatment, corrections or other valid adjustments.
Verification, KYC & payout eligibility
Before permitting withdrawals or payouts, Peekamoji or a payout provider may require information reasonably necessary to verify identity, age, address, tax status, bank or payout account ownership, sanctions status or other legal and anti-fraud requirements.
You must provide accurate, complete and current information. We may delay or decline a payout where required information is missing, inconsistent or cannot reasonably be verified, or where payout would violate law, sanctions, provider rules or fraud-prevention requirements.
Payout methods, thresholds & timing
Available payout methods, any minimum withdrawal threshold, supported currencies, processing time and any payout-specific fee will be shown in the relevant feature before you request a withdrawal where reasonably practicable.
Peekamoji does not promise a fixed weekly, monthly or other payout schedule unless the app expressly states one. Processing times may depend on banks, payout providers, weekends, holidays, compliance checks and destination country.
A payout is treated as completed when the relevant payment or payout provider confirms that the funds have been sent to the destination details you supplied.
Currency conversion
Creator Support may originate in a currency different from the Creator’s payout currency. Conversion may therefore be required.
The exchange rate and conversion charge may be determined by an app store, payment processor, bank, payout provider or other third-party provider. Any applicable direct foreign-exchange cost may be treated as a Direct External Transaction Cost.
Taxes, VAT & withholding
Creators are responsible for understanding and meeting their own tax, VAT, social-security, reporting and similar obligations relating to Creator Earnings, except to the extent Peekamoji or a payment provider is legally required to collect, withhold, report or remit amounts.
Where law requires us to withhold, report or obtain tax information, we may do so and may delay payout until required information has been provided. Any amount lawfully withheld is treated as paid or remitted for the purpose for which the law requires it.
Nothing in these terms is tax advice.
Refunds, reversals & chargebacks
A supporter may be entitled to a refund or payment reversal under applicable law or the rules of Apple, Google, a payment provider or card issuer. Peekamoji may also issue corrections where a transaction was duplicated, unauthorized, fraudulent or processed incorrectly.
If Creator Earnings were credited from a transaction that is later refunded, reversed or charged back, the corresponding Creator Earnings and associated Direct External Transaction Costs may be reversed or adjusted.
A Creator is not entitled to retain earnings from a transaction that is lawfully cancelled, refunded, reversed or found to be fraudulent.
Reserves, holds & risk review
Peekamoji may place a reasonable temporary hold or reserve on pending or available Creator Earnings where necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized payments, abnormal transaction patterns, chargeback risk, sanctions concerns, legal obligations, account compromise or material violations of our rules.
We will not use holds merely to avoid paying valid earnings. Holds should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant risk and reviewed as circumstances develop.
Adjustments, overpayments & negative balances
We may correct Creator Earnings records where there is a technical, accounting or processing error. If we have overpaid you, or a payout later becomes unsupported because of a refund, chargeback, reversal, fraud or duplicate processing, we may offset the amount against future Creator Earnings where lawful.
If a negative creator balance results from a valid refund, reversal, chargeback, fraud event or overpayment, future Creator Earnings may first be applied to that balance. We will not create a negative balance solely because ordinary transaction costs on a normal valid transaction exceed its Gross Tip Value.
Where permitted by law, we may request repayment of a material overpayment that cannot reasonably be recovered through future earnings.
Payout details & account security
You are responsible for providing correct payout details and keeping your account secure. Carefully verify bank, wallet or payout-provider information before requesting a payout.
If a payout is sent to incorrect details supplied by you, recovery may not be possible. We will provide reasonable assistance where practical, but cannot guarantee recovery once a third-party provider has completed the transfer.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, a compromised payout account or an unauthorized withdrawal request.
Fraud, manipulation & prohibited conduct
You must not use creator-support or payout features for money laundering, self-tipping designed to extract value from payment systems, circular transactions, stolen payment methods, fabricated transactions, coordinated refund abuse, chargeback abuse, artificial earnings inflation or other deceptive or unlawful activity.
You must not sell, transfer or exchange access to Creator Earnings outside approved payout channels, or use Peekamoji as an unauthorized money-transmission or cash-conversion service.
We may cancel invalid transactions, reverse associated earnings, restrict payout access or take account action where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated, subject to applicable law.
Content moderation & earnings
Creator Earnings do not prevent Peekamoji from moderating content or accounts under our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
If content or an account is removed or restricted, valid earnings already generated are not automatically forfeited. However, earnings connected to fraud, illegal activity, prohibited transactions, invalid support, refunds, chargebacks or other transactions that are not lawfully payable may be withheld, reversed or cancelled where permitted by law.
Suspension, termination & account deletion
If your account is suspended, terminated or deleted, payout access may be paused while we determine whether any earnings remain valid and payable.
Subject to applicable law, valid available Creator Earnings remaining after legitimate deductions, reversals, holds and required verification should remain payable through an available method. We may retain amounts where payment is prohibited by law, sanctions, unresolved ownership disputes or verified fraud.
Deleting an account does not erase transaction, tax, anti-fraud or payout records that Peekamoji is legally entitled or required to retain.
Unclaimed or unpayable amounts
If a payout cannot be completed because your information is missing, invalid or outdated, we may continue to hold the amount while giving you a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue.
Amounts that remain unclaimed or legally unpayable for an extended period will be handled in accordance with applicable law, including any rules on unclaimed property or statutory limitation periods.
Relationship with supporters
Peekamoji provides the technical creator-support system. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Tip does not create an employment, agency, fiduciary or service relationship between the supporter and the Creator.
Creators must not mislead users about what a Tip provides. If a Creator separately promises goods or services in exchange for payment, additional marketplace, consumer, tax or payment rules may apply.
Third-party providers & store rules
Apple, Google, payment processors, banks and payout providers may impose their own terms, eligibility requirements, fees, processing rules, refund rules and geographic restrictions.
Peekamoji may structure creator-support and payout flows differently by platform or country where necessary to comply with those rules or applicable law. Where a third-party provider controls part of a payment or payout, its processing decision may affect timing, reversals or availability.
Privacy & transaction data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process identity, transaction, billing, payout and related information. We may share necessary information with payment, payout, banking, tax, fraud-prevention and verification providers to operate these features and comply with legal obligations.
Statements, records & errors
The earnings history shown in Peekamoji is intended to help you understand your Creator Earnings and payouts. If you believe an amount is incorrect, contact us promptly with enough information for us to investigate.
We may rely on our transaction records and records supplied by app stores, payment processors, payout providers and banks when resolving a discrepancy, while correcting any demonstrated error.
Program changes & discontinuation
We may modify, suspend or discontinue creator-support or payout features, supported countries, payout methods, thresholds or provider arrangements for legal, technical, safety or business reasons.
Changes will not retroactively reduce Creator Earnings that were already validly accrued under the calculation applicable at the time of the relevant transaction, except for legitimate later refunds, reversals, chargebacks, taxes, corrections, fraud findings or other adjustments described in these terms.
Changes to these Creator Payout Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the product, payment providers, law, tax requirements, platform rules or business operations. The Last Updated date identifies the latest published version.
Where required by law, material changes will be communicated through the Platform or another appropriate channel before they take effect.
Governing law & disputes
These Creator Payout Terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply under the law of your country of residence.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled in accordance with the dispute provisions in our Terms of Use and any mandatory consumer or jurisdictional rules that apply.
